According to Vivek Ramaswamy, the FBI should be completely dismantled. He asserts that the FBI’s current structure encourages over-generalization at the expense of focused expertise, leading to inefficiency. The presidential hopeful proposes repositioning roughly 15,000 of the FBI’s dedicated workers to the US Marshals, DEA, or Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. He believes these agencies have maintained their integrity—unlike the FBI—and can provide these federal employees with a clearer focus on their legitimate duties.
