ShortForm Announces Winner in Best Google I/O Sandbox Video Contest
Mojo Helpdesk® Top Vote-Getter Among 82 Companies
May 11, 2011—(SAN FRANCISCO)— ShortForm, the new entertainment medium that delivers continuous channels of the best videos curated by a community of VJs, announced that Mojo Helpdesk® from MetaDot Corporation of Austin, TX received the most votes in the Best Google I/O Sandbox Video Contest. Mojo Helpdesk® is a hosted ticket tracking application that allows organizations to centralize, assign and track user requests. ShortForm will feature Mojo Helpdesk prominently on its home page for one week.
Over 4,000 people voted in the contest, which showcased product videos from companies exhibiting in the Google I/O 2011 Developer Sandbox. The contest ran from May 4 through the close of the Developer Sandbox on May 11th. Mojo Helpdesk® and Buddy TV Guide© v2.0 had been neck-and-neck over the final days of the contest with Mojo Helpdesk pulling away in the final hours of voting. The videos can be viewed here and here.
ShortForm used its embeddable contest widget, which enables viewers to watch the videos in a continuous stream and vote for their favorites. A leaderboard provided real-time updates of the results throughout the contest. Although voting is closed, the contest widget can still be viewed on ShortForm's Google I/O page and the Google I/O Sandbox channel of product videos can be viewed and embedded from ShortForm's main watch page.
