Though research supports Inchausp\u00e9\u2019s idea that the prevalence of small, sticky LDL pattern B cholesterol is connected to external factors such as glucose levels, <a href=\"https:\/\/mainheartclinic.com\/2011\/05\/cholesterol-particle-size\/#:~:text=Individuals%20with%20pattern%20A%20are,and%20dense%20LDL%20cholesterol%20particles.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">there\u2019s also a genetic component<\/a> to the size of our LDL cholesterol.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-cancer\">2. <strong>Cancer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the author, <strong>glucose spikes can increase our risk of cancer in three ways:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, the increased number of free radicals that result from glucose spikes can increase our risk of dangerous DNA mutations.
