As Cooper points out, even if you do get married, you\u2019re likely to get divorced. This is partly because the family law of many modern countries financially incentivizes women to divorce their partners: In fact, women are most likely to grow rich via divorce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Cooper notes, you may decide to get married despite his warnings. If so, he recommends that you do the following to ensure the best possible results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, <strong>choose the right woman<\/strong>. Cooper references <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Tactical-Guide-Women-Manage-Marriage\/dp\/0990686442\"><em>The Tactical Guide to Women<\/em><\/a> which states that she should be mature and stable and have clarity. Cooper adds that she should be good at handling stress, willing to change her name to yours\u2014and thus demonstrate that she\u2019s committed long-term\u2014and earn a relatively similar income to yours so that you don\u2019t have to pay as much in alimony in the event of a divorce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>How to Find a Good Wife: What Other Experts Say <\/strong><br><br>What do other experts say about marrying the right woman? <em>The Tactical Guide to Women <\/em>elaborates on how to tell if a woman is mature, stable, and clear: She\u2019s <em>emotionally<\/em> mature (handling stress well and taking full responsibility for her emotions), <em>mentally<\/em> stable (lacking mental health issues), and clearly address conflicts instead of skirting around the issue.&nbsp;<br><br>Other experts agree that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psychologytoday.com\/us\/blog\/so-happy-together\/201807\/marital-stability-and-our-personal-baggage#:~:text=Emotional%20stability%20may%20be%20the,generally%20maintain%20a%20positive%20demeanor.\">an emotionally stable spouse is good because she\u2019ll help you handle challenges<\/a>. Additionally, they suggest that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chatelaine.com\/health\/would-you-be-happy-with-a-man-who-makes-less-money-than-you\/\">marrying someone with a similar income results in the happiest marriages<\/a>, not because it makes divorce easier (as Cooper notes) but because both parties feel that they have an equal say in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shortform.com\/blog\/important-decisions-in-life\/\">important decisions<\/a>, like where to live.&nbsp;<br><br>However, contrary to Cooper, experts don\u2019t suggest that she must be willing to change her last name to yours.
