However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/larryalton\/2017\/02\/17\/why-corporate-culture-is-becoming-even-more-important\/?sh=1cbdfd6969da\">others see establishing a strong culture as <em>preceding <\/em>the successful retention of employees<\/a>. This is because, when employees feel like they\u2019re part of a culture and community, they\u2019re more likely to stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Bet-David, building a positive workplace culture can be done by creating a set of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shortform.com\/blog\/company-principles\/\">company principles<\/a> (for instance, honesty and diversity) and acting on them (for example, by leading CEO Q&amp;A sessions and establishing a diversity, equity, and inclusion committee).
