The Heaven Is for Real <\/em>Characters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In July 2003, 4-year-old Colton Burpo made a remarkable claim: that, during a period of serious illness earlier that year, he\u2019d visited heaven and met Jesus. <\/strong>In the months and years that followed, Colton revealed more and more details about his heavenly experience, claiming that he\u2019d seen God\u2019s throne, met late members of the Burpo family, and foreseen the battle of Armageddon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penned by Colton\u2019s father, pastor Todd Burpo<\/a>, Heaven is for Real <\/em>is an account of Colton\u2019s illness and subsequent revelations. It explores not only Colton\u2019s experiences, but also Todd\u2019s journey to casting aside his doubts and accepting that his son had truly visited heaven. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
