It could be writing a book, building a company, creating art, or even their fashion sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You want your work\u2014what you\u2019ve created\u2014to be recognized when it\u2019s sent out into the world, but there\u2019s no guarantee it will be liked, appreciated or even understood. It\u2019s hard to find the courage to complete something because fear of criticism can be overwhelming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>While you can\u2019t make people like or understand what you\u2019ve created, you still have to put it out there<\/strong> because your ability to create is a God-given gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a writer who receives good and bad reviews, Rachel Hollis, author of <em>Girl, Wash Your Face<\/em>, has to fight her fear of criticism. She holds onto the mantra, \u201cSomeone else\u2019s opinion of you is none of your business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Focus on Creating, Not the Fear of Criticism<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Women must send their work out into the world without the fear of negativity or the fear of criticism because pushing your work out into the world is more important than how it will be received. Whenever Hollis writes about something new or controversial, she wonders if people will get it or like it. Other people\u2019s opinions shouldn\u2019t affect your desire to keep creating.
