They know how to make a sales pitch and work off of a script.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certain people simply <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shortform.com\/blog\/how-to-be-more-charismatic-2\/\">have more charisma<\/a> than others. Take the example of Bill Clinton again: He shook thousands of hands a day while running for office, but managed to connect on a personal level with each voter. Fortunately, even if you don\u2019t possess any natural charisma, you can still connect with people\u2014it\u2019s a learnable skill, and you don\u2019t even need to have <em>that<\/em><strong> <\/strong>much to a know how to make a sales pitch. Having charisma has to do with all of the stuff that we\u2019ve already talked about. Attempt to create certainty one by one in the same order that they were introduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Build <strong>logical cases <\/strong>first and <strong>emotional cases <\/strong>second. The logical case will satisfy the BS detector of the prospect, and then move on to the emotional, painting a picture of the prospect with the product. Do <em>all<\/em><strong> <\/strong>of this using the scripts and language patterns you develop.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Introduce yourself and the product, explain the reason for the call, and establish yourself as an expert using tone and body language. Here are some basic patterns that are useful:<ul><li>Always be enthusiastic from the beginning.<\/li><li>Speak in the familiar, no \u201cMr.\u201d or \u201cMs.\u201d<\/li><li>Introduce yourself and the company right at the start, and then say the company\u2019s name again in the first two or so sentences.<\/li><li>Use \u201cpower words\u201d or superlatives: \u201cfastest,\u201d \u201cgrowing exponentially,\u201d \u201cexplosive growth.\u201d<\/li><li>Ask for permission to start the rest of your sale, ask questions of the prospect.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Transition into the info-gathering phase.
